Position Description: Provide subject matter expertise supporting Live-Virtual-Constructive (L-V-C) development and integration efforts to enhance training and planning related to controlling the electromagnetic spectrum and providing a robust, realistic EM opposing force (EM OPFOR) to train against. Assess current capabilities and provide recommendations for operational enhancements and efficiencies. Assess interoperability of equipment and software for use within EM OPFOR L-V-C network. Develop conceptual diagrams for consideration in implementation of EM OPFOR L-V-C network and/or exercise venues. Determine and pursue established/new partnerships within DoD and other government agencies that can be leveraged to enhance EM OPFOR’s current capabilities for providing a contested/congested electromagnetic environment. Provide a high level of exercise planning and execution support to EM OPFOR customers. Provide a high level of information technology support to EM OPFOR.
Minimum Requirements (including education): Associates Degree and 10 years of experience. Requires designing and implementing adversary and civilian C4 architectures to include designing and developing hardware and software test tools for evaluation of SNTC systems and components. Eight (8) years’ Electromagnetic Spectrum (EMS) and/or Opposing Force (OPFOR) support experience to include but not limited to exercise planning, large/small scale exercise support, and site surveys. Eight (8) years’ of operational or tactical experience related to Electronic Warfare Support (ES) and Electronic Warfare Attack (EA)/Radio Frequency Direction Finding (RFDF) Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs).Excellent communications and analytical skills; working knowledge of computer systems and integrated software application programs (MS Office suite). Position will require travel. Position will require the ability maintain a TS/SCI Security Clearance.
Demonstrated experience in conducting EMS vulnerability assessments within the DoD. Familiar with the Navy’s Competency Aligned Organizational (CAO) structure and the Navy’s
Integrated Product Team (IPT) structure.
