Job Summary
AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Value Engineering Specialist to join our Value Engineering Practice. This position could be based out of any of the following offices: Mississauga, ON; Kitchener, ON; Markham, ON; Whitby, ON; Burnaby, BC; Winnipeg, MB; Edmonton, AB; Calgary, AB.

Job Summary:
The successful candidate will provide Value Engineering services to various infrastructure projects globally. They must be a SAVE International Certified Value Specialist (CVS) or a Value Management Associate (VMA) who can obtain CVS certification within 6 months of hire. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Lead and/or co-lead Value Engineering Studies for various infrastructure projects
Organize, coordinate and plan all Pre-Workshop, Workshop and Post-Workshop activities
Developing and/or modifying templates for Pre-Workshop, Workshop and Post-Workshop activities
Work with clients, Project Managers and the Value Engineering Practice Lead to develop VE Study Plans, facilitate client meetings and complete task orders
Experience with the management of a multidisciplinary team in a workshop environment
Experience with the management of communications during Pre-Workshop, Workshop and Post-Workshop activities
Providing clear direction to all VE Team members during Pre-Workshop, Workshop and Post-Workshop activities
Report and proposal writing, editing, formatting and compilation
Presentation preparation, writing, editing, formatting and compilation
Ensure VE Studies, reports and presentations meet client requirements
Manage project documents and facilitating meetings using Microsoft Teams
Continuously develop work-related skills and requirements as per SAVE International requirements as well as AECOM requirements
Ability to travel globally (25% to 50% of the time)
Adapt the Value Methodology to meet client requirements
Minimum Requirements
BA/BS Degree + 4 Years of Relevant Experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Certified Value Specialist (CVS) or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire
Preferred Qualifications
Working knowledge and experience with MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, Visio as well as Abode Products, Miro
Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as detail oriented, possesses exceptional organizational skills, ability to adapt in a fast-pace environment, analytical, possess problem solving abilities and strong background in the Value Methodology
