Our Wilmington Office is actively seeking a Construction Inspector interested in joining a progressive engineering company with potential to gain experience on a variety of challenging transportation projects that include work within the highway bridge industry.

Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
Highway and bridge construction projects throughout the state of Delaware
Assisting with field inspections to evaluate the work performed and materials used
verifying quality of workmanship, quality of materials used, and compliance with plans, specifications, estimates and applicable codes and regulations
Documenting deficiencies and deviations from plans
General office administration, including report reproduction, collation and deliveries will also be expected
High school diploma or equivalent
5+ years’ experience performing highway construction inspection duties
Computer literacy and a demonstrated ability to learn quickly
Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office applications
Must be able to apply technical training to perform basic calculations, work well in a team setting and be willing to work diligently to learn new skills
Due to the nature of this work, U.S. citizenship is required
- NICET Certification preferred, but not required
