AECOM Transportation Modeller in Whitby, Ontario

AECOM GTA is looking for a Transportation Modeller to add to their growing team:
Responsibilities and duties include:
Contributing to the delivery of Traffic Impact Studies, EA, TPAP, Preliminary and Detail Design, Construction Staging, Transportation Master Plans, Intersection Capacity Analyses and other transportation studies
Providing technical leadership and supervision of small-to-medium tasks, working with junior staff and reviewing technical modelling work
Delivering assigned tasks on schedule and budget, while adhering to AECOM quality standards
Liaising directly with other discipline groups within AECOM, as well as with external clients and sub-consultants
Preparation of technical memoranda, reports, presentations and other project documentation

Bachelor Degree in Urban Planning or Engineering or Geography + 2 years of experience in the transportation planning field.
2 years experience with Synchro software
P.Eng. license from Professional Engineers Ontario, or eligible for licensing;
Ideally 4+ years' experience in transportation modelling, engineering and planning;
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Practical experience in transportation modelling techniques and software, including VISSIM, VISUM, AIMSUN, EMME, HCS, etc.
Able to develop, calibrate, validate and utilize models for implementation and scenario testing.
Experience in basic roadway geometric design would be an asset
Demonstrated experience writing technical reports
