AECOM Senior Project Engineer - TTC Projects in Whitby, Ontario

AECOM is looking for a Senior Project Engineer to work on secondment to TTC to help their teams with delivering their Transit projects.
The job incumbent will be offered a regular, full-time position with AECOM and work on secondment to TTC for about a year before returning to AECOM. Length of secondment could be extended beyond a year before returning to AECOM.
Candidate will report for work at the TTC office (as appropriate) for the length of the secondment. After the secondment is compete, the home office for the employee will be the AECOM Whitby office.
.1 Develops the project concept and definition.
.2 Manages the design process through the preliminary and detailed design phases.
.3 Manages the preparation of the construction contract documents.
.4 Provides assistance during the tender period and evaluation period.
.5 Provides engineering support during construction.
Candidates must have at least, a BA/BS + 4 Years of relevant experience, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education to be considered for this position.
Candidates with less than this will not be considered.

.6 Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in the province of Ontario or a licensed Architect
(OAA) in the province of Ontario.
.7 Have approximately five (5) years experience in project management.
.8 Proven team player with the skills and ability to build and maintain internal and external
.9 Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent business and technical writing.
.10 Strong organizational, interpersonal, problem solving and analytical skills.
.11 Proficient at reading drawings and schematics.
.12 May be required to work overtime and visit construction sites.
