Job Summary
AECOM Mississauga is looking for a Street Lighting Designer. This position is expected to begin in February 2021.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Design of traffic signals and illumination for various clients
Preparation of lighting and traffic signal layouts
Preparation of wiring diagrams and electrical details
Photometric analysis of lighting systems
Voltage drop calculations
Preparation of contract documents and specifications
Site visits and contract administration
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor in Electrical Engineering + 2 years of related experience or Diploma/Certificate + 4 YORE or Highschool + 6 YORE
2+ years of experience in street lighting and traffic signal design
2+ years experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications
Ideally 3+ years of experience on MTO projects
Ideally 1+ years of experience with MTO CPS
Experience with the Ministry of Transportation Ontario street lighting and traffic signal design assignments including previous experience with high mast lighting design.
Experience with the Ministry of Transportation Ontario Contract Preparation System
Knowledge of AutoLUX or AGI32
Good verbal and written communication in English
