Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a Program Manager to provide Program Management support to Acoustic Programs. The position will be located at 300 M St., SE, Washington, DC

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Plan, direct, monitor, and control day to day operations and special projects executed by staff supporting towed and hull sensor systems

  • Monitor staff work performance and work completion milestones to ensure quality and timeliness of services/deliverables to customers.

  • Provide direct program management support to Sensors Assistant Program Managers and Acquisition Managers

  • Draft, coordinate, and finalize briefing material, reports, correspondence, schedules, calendars and Navy requirements in a collaborative setting

  • Draft, audit, and finalize Navy contract documentation and Acquisition Category (ACAT) requirements to meet applicable statutory, regulatory, and NAVSEA requirements

  • Facilitate documentation and process reviews with AECOM team members and customers

  • Support quality improvements through the generation and improvement of standard procedures and guidance

  • Engage in business development activities

  • Prepare annual staffing plan and Technical instruction input

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field and 10 years of job related experience or equivalent

  • Active Secret clearance

  • Management experience

  • Experience with auditing for compliance with DOD 5000 series requirements

  • Good written communication skills

  • Good interpersonal team communication and collaboration skills

  • Ability to solicit and coordinate input across functional areas

  • Ability to effectively monitor quality

  • Ability to proactively set and achieve goals and deadlines

  • Working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications; proficiency with Microsoft Office

  • 2018 Position may require up to 15% travel

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior Navy experience is preferred.
