Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking BFM Analyst to provide Acquisition support. The position will be located at 300 M St SE, Washington, DC 20003.

Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate acquisition support for PEOSUB sensor programs in the areas of program planning, procurement and contracting. Apply knowledge of acquisition financial regulations, directives, instructions, policies and procedures to advise in the planning and execution of acquisition programs and the development and execution of Government contracts.

  2. Supervise Acquisition Team performance of activities associated with the development, maintenance and execution of programs of record. Responsibilities include the establishment and maintenance of electronic tracking systems to analyze and report on schedules and deliverables; generation of Navy correspondence and reports; and meeting support.

  3. Supervise the administration of contracts for PEO SUB customer programs including the coordination of data inputs, database development and maintenance, and the preparation of procurement requests and draft modifications in the Standard Procurement System (SPS), and technical instructions.

  4. Draft Acquisition Plans (AP), Acquisition Strategies (AS), Single Acquisition Management Plans (SAMP), Sole Source justification and Approval (J&A) documents.

  5. Coordinate procurement related Integrated Product Teams.

  6. Coordinate and attend meetings; generate agendas, minutes, and actions as required.

  7. Review Contract Data Requirements Lists data deliverables.

  8. File archive management and reorganization participation.

  9. Support quality improvements through the generation and improvement of standard procedures and guidance.

  10. Interface with program office personnel, Navy field activity personnel, and contractors in acquisition, engineering, and logistics functional areas for prioritization and issue resolution and planning.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration or a related field

  • 7 years of job related experience or equivalent

  • Good written communication skills; working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications; organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook).

  • An active Government Security Clearance at the SECRET level.

  • Position may require 15% travel.

  • Good interpersonal team communication and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to solicit and coordinate input across functional areas.

  • Management support experience

  • Proofing and editing proficiency and good attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with the FAR and DFARS

  • DoD procurement process familiarity

  • SPS experience

  • New contract formulation

  • Supervisory experience
