Job Summary

J.W. Williams, Inc. an AECOM Company is seeking a Production Project Management professional for employment at our Fabrication Shop in Waller, TX.

Position Description or Typical Responsibilities:

  • Schedules work activities in a manner that ensures project resources are efficiently allocated to support applicable phases of operations.

  • Develops work packages and instructions to support work activities including pre-planning, material staging requisitioning/expediting, labor estimating, and all other field support as required.

  • Monitors assignments to ensure that they are within the agreed scope, schedule and budget and that the work is being performed within outlined policies and expectations.

  • Coordinates timely development and release of work packages, task requests, and work orders to support the master schedule.

  • Reviews and analyzes delays in schedule, expedites any work activities requiring work packages that delay schedules, and coordinates schedule changes needed to encompass unforeseen conditions.

  • Ensures work orders are in compliance with project directive documents, assists in the determination of work priority, and establishes workflow processes that support work management and operations goals.

  • Periodically reviews work performed for attainment or obtainment of objectives, policy compliance and priorities, effective coordination, technical adequacy and responsiveness to established guidelines.

  • Integrates efficient operations that are in compliance with company policies, client requirements, and governmental regulations.

  • Maintains costs on all work orders weekly and forecasts any costs over/under-runs.

  • Develops and maintains change orders associated with work orders.

  • Ensures all safety and environmental guidelines are followed without deviation.

Minimum Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, business administration or related field or demonstrated equivalent combination of experience and skills.


  • 4 years of experience in engineering & procurement projects, handling scheduling and budgeting

  • Knowledge of a variety of operating activities, such as purchasing, materials, production processes and engineering.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a Industrial manufacturing facility

  • Previous experience with Oil and Gas Production Equipment

  • Previous experience with ASME Codes and standards
