AECOM is seeking a Construction Engineer to be based in Vancouver, British Columbia.
AECOM’s Resources, Power and Industry Business has multiple opportunities for experienced Construction Engineers to support the successful completion of a range of projects across the region.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Under general supervision, performs routine duties.
Displays knowledge and abilities to evaluate, select and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria to meet basic engineering and construction specifications.
Displays applications of sound professional judgment on details of work.
Independently performs walk-downs and inspections of installed commodities to assure conformance with specifications and design.
Performs quantity surveys for tracking and reporting. May provide technical direction to drafters, technicians, and surveyors.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or demonstrated combination of education/training and experience.
2 years experience in the construction industry.
Experience in the management and specification of underground mine materials handling systems and equipment;
Experience in the management and specification of surface and underground mine infrastructure and related equipment;
Experience working in a dynamic, consulting environment.
You will be agile in your approach, with the ability to move into projects at short notice and deliver high-quality work output will be essential.
- Mining Industry /Heavy Industry experience – Essential.
