Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a highly talented and motivated Procurement Specialist I/II for immediate employment in the Troy, PA office.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide updates directly to Client about procurement related progress and potential delays on a regular basis

  • Experience natural gas gathering systems and water distributions systems

  • Manage and maintain a healthy relationship with vendors, suppliers and contractors

  • Create documentations necessary for the acquisition of materials and services

Work directly with our Clients Director of Operations, and provide coordination of all procurement activities with some general direction, including:

  • Supply sourcing

  • Price negotiations

  • Purchase order creation

  • Order tracking

  • Price dispute resolutions

  • Record keeping

Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma

  • No experience for level I/ 3+ years of procurement and warehouse management experience for level II

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

  • Must be familiar with engineered drawings

  • Must be well organized and possess team leadership and participation skills

  • Must possess effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Must be able to travel to field project location(s) which includes walking, climbing ladders, etc

  • Due to the nature of this work, qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test

  • Due to the nature of this work, U.S. citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Relevant oil & gas industry purchasing experience

  • Experience with AutoCAD a plus
