  • Research and confirm assignments meet building codes, regulatory and industry codes, laws and requirements, as well as client requirements.

  • Participate in a wide variety of project types including transit facilities, subway stations, maintenance facilities, office buildings, parking structures, public facilities, municipal & industrial buildings, water, and wastewater treatment facilities.

  • Assist with broad objectives for innovation by identifying creative solutions to address challenging technical issues such as evaluating alternative framing systems, strengthening existing buildings to carry additional loads, and incorporating sustainable design initiatives into projects.

  • Report to the Structural Department Manager and work with a team of architects, structural, mechanical, electrical, and civil engineers, as well as transportation engineers and environmental scientists.
