Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Bridge Engineer III for immediate employment in the Tampa, FL office. AECOM is proud to provide our employees with exciting, challenging projects.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Preparing and checking design calculations for bridges and other transportation related structures

  • Computer modelling of complex structures

  • Plans review and checking

  • Preparation of reports and specifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with structural engineering focus

  • 5+ years of experience

  • Licensed Professional Engineer

  • Proficient with MicroStation, Microsoft Office Software, Mathcad and other general software

  • Familiarity with Bentley’s LEAP Bridge Concrete software and BSI’s FB-MultiPier

  • Detail oriented and have strong skills in structural analysis, steel and concrete design; and the ability to work in a team environment

  • Must possess excellent analytical, technical skills and communication (oral and written) skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering with structural engineering focus

  • Experience with structural analysis software packages including Midas, LARSA and Bentley’s RM Bridge

  • Experience on Florida DOT projects
