Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Architectural Designer II for employment in the Tampa, Florida office.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Work with current architectural staff to develop architectural designs and execute contract drawings

  • Perform code research

  • Work and coordinate with engineering disciplines

  • Review Submittals (Shop Drawings) and Contractor RFIs (Request for Information)

  • Conduct field visits

  • Conduct 3-D modeling

  • Prepare renderings

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture

  • 3+ years of work at architecture firms, developing an understanding of the process for designing, executing, and checking projects

  • Applicant must be fully competent in Revit and AutoCAD

  • Applicant must be able to travel locally, and to stay out of town overnight on occasion

  • Due to the nature of this work, U.S. citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Architecture

  • Proficiency in Photoshop

  • Proficiency in SketchUp

  • Security clearances are helpful
