Job Summary

AECOM/URS has an opening for a

Logistics Management Specialist in

Iraq .

Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, assists with material management actions.

Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Assist with material management actions; update material management records;

  2. Maintain asset visibility and equipment redistribution;

  3. Provide the work using the organic or subordinate unit facilities;

  4. Attend, conduct briefings, meetings, and workshops; prepare/submit reports;

  5. Assist with inventories; assist with data cleanup; assist rebuild PBO;

  6. Assist with redistribution of excess assist inventory teams with redistribution, turn-ins, and found on installation along with inventories; assist units with preparation for deployment, change of command inventories, and special inventories;

  7. Provide system integration with PBUSE/USE and FAAST;

  8. Provide assistance to the supported units, reconciling hand receipts, cataloging property, maintaining property book records, managing inventories, lateral transfers, and the management of excess property.

  9. Assist with IUID markings of equipment..

Material and Equipment Directly Used:

Works with computers and Army STAMIS to include Property Book Unit Supply Enhanced (PBUSE) system, Army logistics information systems including the Force And Asset Search Tool (FAAST), Force Management System Web Site (FMSWeb), Logistics Information Warehouse (LIW), Logistics Data Analysis Tool (LogDAT)

Working Environment:

Work is generally conducted in an office environment; however, duties may involve the conduct of work in the out-of-doors area with a potential exposure to extreme climatic conditions.

Physical Activities:

Work will require lifting up to 50 lbs, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting and working. Employee use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required in certain areas. Such PPE includes but is not limited to head, foot, hand, torso, respiratory, vision and hearing protective devices. Must comply with OSHA, EPA, Fire Regulations and published company work rules.

Employee must meet Theater Physical Standards in accordance with CENTCOM guidance.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • AA or AS degree required.

  • An additional two (2) years of experience (above the experience requirements) may be substituted. Corresponding with all Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) , ARMY, AIRFORCE, NAVY, MARINES and COAST GUARD.

  • Minimum of six (6) years’ experience providing logistics support for major systems.

  • Minimum of four (4) years Army property book accounting experience, of which a minimum of two (2) years automated experience using the Property Book Unit Supply Enhanced (PBUSE) system is required.

  • Functional experience in Army logistics information systems including the Force And Asset Search Tool (FAAST), Force Management System Web Site (FMSWeb), Logistics Information Warehouse (LIW), Logistics Data Analysis Tool (LogDAT) must be demonstrated.

  • Must be a U.S. citizen and have a current, valid U.S. passport.

  • Must have an active Secret clearance.

  • Must be able to favorably complete customer and company background investigation.
