Position Title Site Mechanical Quantity Surveyor, (Philippines)(Contract)

JOB SUMMARY: AECOM is seeking an Site Quantity Surveyor to be based in our project sites located in Norzagaray Bulacan. Manage all costs relating to industrial projects from the initial calculations to the final figures, minimize the costs of a project and enhance value for money while achieving the required standards and quality.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITY:
Input and Review procurement strategy and process with the contracts manager
Ensure compliance with the project procurement strategy
Manage the procurement process and tender reports
Manage and supervise Quantity Surveyors in all aspects of a Quantity Surveying works including but without limitation to Project Planning, Design Development, Procurement, Authorities Compliance, Construction Management and Defects Management
Establish client’s requirements and undertake feasibility studies
Attend onsite and consultants’ meetings and liaise with clients, architects and associate consultants in the administration of projects
Interpret architectural or engineering drawings and specifications to calculate project costs
Prepare various main building contracts, piling contracts and nominated sub-contracts for tender and contract formalization
Measure and take off quantities for architectural, structural and MEP work elements
Administer pre and post contract and consultancy work
Assess variation orders, prepare interim valuations, cost plans and budget studies
Compile contract documents for execution
Understand and adhere to the statutory building regulations
Undertake cost analysis for repair and maintenance of project work
Allocate work to subcontractors
Analyze outcomes and write detailed progress reports
Maintain awareness of different building contracts in current use
Valuing completed work and arrange payments
Provide advice on contractual claims
Minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years of relevant working experience in both pre and post contract in consultancy environment
In-depth knowledge of construction laws and regulations
Good verbal and written communication skills
Organized and able to handle stress
A recognized degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering fields.
Have attended COST by any accredited DOLE Training Provider
Experience working in Construction Company with site experience.
Knowledge and experience of ISO 9001 implementation.
Self-motivated and independent.
Preference is given to Filipino Locals/Residents in Norzagaray, Bulacan
