Job Summary

AECOM's Sydney Environmental group is the lead provider of contaminated land assessment, impact assessment, and remediation services in NSW. AECOM provides environmental services across all market sectors including oil and gas, defence, government, mining, manufacturing, energy, waste and land development.

A rewarding opportunity exists for a self-starting Technical Officer - Data Management Support in our Geosciences and Remediation Services workgroup in Sydney. Reporting to the Workgroup Manager - Geosciences and Remediation Services, you will primarily work in consultation with both the National and NSW Data Managers, and will be responsible for the management of data obtained from a wide range of environmental field programs. With an uncompromising commitment to health and safety and client service, you will be an experienced Data Manager who will be able to multi-task, contribute to and prepare reports independently.

Minimum Requirements

Ideally you will have:

  • Training in data management systems

  • At least three years’ experience with MS Excel, Access and SQL database

  • Attention to detail and data entry skills

  • Experience working with project/client specific databases

  • Ability to trouble shoot and problem solve

  • Experience using ESdat and EQuIS

  • Have previous experience in data management with a desire for quality outcomes

  • Be committed to safety in the workplace

  • Be enthusiastic, energetic and hard working

  • Be eager to learn, be mentored by industry leaders and to share your own knowledge.
