AECOM Principal Engineer Soils and Groundwater in Stockholm, Sweden

The Principal Soils and Groundwater Engineer will deliver consultancy and advisory services to both internal and external clients to a high level of technical quality and to programme and budget.
Scoping, tendering and administering soils and ground investigations;
Production of project specific technical and financial reports;
Provide leadership in health, safety, environment and quality,
Interface directly with other team members, and with other internal teams from various disciplines and contractors;
You will have strong development skills and the technical ability, knowledge and competence to provide guidance and teaching to others, particularly junior staff, if and when required;
Ability to work collaboratively and iteratively within a multi-disciplinary design team, to ensure work packages are delivered on time and within budget;
Establishing strong working relationships and ensuring regular liaison with other internal teams;
Be aware of and understand the AECOM Project Management procedures, their importance and their application to projects, including monthly progress and budget reviews of projects.
Specific Skills Required :
Fluent in Swedish and English,
Full Swedish / European Driving License;
Experience with PFAS would be a distinct advantage
10-15 years of relevant experience.
Proven track record in the technical support of projects and be conversant with the standards that apply.
Able to demonstrate an understanding of the industry.
A degree in Geology, Chemistry or similar.
An MSc in Geology, Chemistry or similar.
Registered with Trafikverket as Handläggare Storre Projekt preferred.
