AECOM has an excellent opportunity for a Construction & Facilities Support Services Manager
at our Springfield, VA location.
The selected candidate will perform routine duties requiring knowledge of basic engineering and construction principles to manage renovation and infrastructure upgrade projects, contract CADD programs, and contract MS Project schedule.
Ensure successful, on-time completion of construction projects of various levels of complexity.
Ensure subcontractor performance meets contract, safety and security requirements
Ensure project proposal packages meet SOW requirements, maximize profit margin and have executable schedules.
Ensure MS Project schedules are current and approved.
Work with other managers to prepare appropriate MS Project schedules to support breadth of contract.
Manage project execution to ensure budget and schedule compliance.
Independently complete site-walks to ensure conformance with specifications and design.
Ensure CADD products meet client expectations.
Ensure CADD efforts are within SOW boundaries.
Review and analyze production reports.
Review and analyze cost reports.
Review and analyze schedule progress.
Ensure required materials remain on schedule to support project execution milestones.
Ensure daily redlines are accomplished as appropriate.
Prepare miscellaneous reports for project management providing needed information for submittals.
Ensure receipt of all necessary project close out documentation and ensure proper updates of CMMS system records and maintenance libraries are accomplished.
Review subcontractor invoices and ensure timely payment.
Supervise subordinate employees.
Will perform all other position-related duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, or related field, or demonstrated combination of education/experience and ten (10) years’ work related experience.
Good communications and analytical skills; Must be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the construction industry.
Must have general knowledge of standard project management tools and responsibilities.
A demonstrated working knowledge of computer systems and integrated software application programs, to include CMMS, MS Project, and CADD is required.
Must be highly skilled in the use of Microsoft - Excel, Power Point, Word and Outlook.
A valid driver's license is required.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance.
