AECOM Lead Resident Engineer (Geotechnical) in Singapore, Singapore

Job Summary

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Chief Resident Engineer and Qualified Person (Supervision) in daily supervision and coordination duties

  • Enforce specifications, national regulations, local Authorities’ requirements, Singapore Standards and good practices

  • Attend site meetings and resolve technical issues with Contractors

  • Liaise with the Engineering Manager and the Project Technical Specialists on the review and approval of design submissions including calculations and drawings

  • Define inspection and special testing requirements and ensure coordination of those efforts on all contracts

  • Ensure inspection documentation fully complies with the local Authorities’ requirements

Minimum Requirements

Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering recognised by the Professional Engineers Board

  • Registered as Resident Engineer with the Joint Accreditation Committee of the Institution of Engineers Singapore / Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore

  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in design and construction of large infrastructure project or waste/water management projects in Singapore, particularly foundation piles, earth retaining or stabilising structures, instrumentation & monitoring, ground improvement and soil investigation works

Preferred Qualifications
