Job Summary

AECOM Leisure and Culture provides a wide range of economic and strategic planning, master planning, architectural, engineering and project management services to clients worldwide. We work primarily in entertainment and leisure, real estate, hospitality, tourism, mixed use, cultural facilities, and township planning. Our portfolio of clients include many of the largest resort and theme park projects in Asia, such as Walt Disney Imagineering, Universal Creative, Village Roadshow, 20th Century Fox, SeaWorld Parks, Merlin Entertainments Group, Luneng Group, Samsung Everland, Ocean Park, Evergrand, OCT Group and Haichang Group.

We currently have an exciting opportunity to be part of high caliber team of Economics and Program Management professionals leading the business planning and implementation management of large scale theme park and resort projects in China.


  • Supports Senior Project Director for Economics and Program Management in communication and business meetings with Chinese client (Mandarin fluency required), international design and operation companies and internal AECOM teams.

  • Conducts research and report writing on topics related to market and feasibility assessments as needed.

  • Drafts presentations and correspondence as directed by the Senior Project Directors.

  • Has direct communication with clients and assist in business development activities including preparation and presentations to clients

  • Interact with AECOM economics, design and project management teams in an integrated working environment.

  • Manage the project deliverables, including ensuring deadlines are met, smooth client management and coordinated internal staff management.

  • Assist in internal project management systems as needed.

  • Work with Project Directors to comply with company policies

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a business related field (economics, tourism, planning, architecture, engineering), Masters Degree is preferred.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project administration or business for Architectural, Engineering, Tourism / Hospitality or Real Estate firms. Two or more years of relevant experience in roles requiring a high level of written communications and report writing

  • Proficiency in the full suite of Microsoft Office products, especially Excel, Powerpoint and Word

  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact with professional staff and clients.

  • Native or Near Native English communication and writing skills are highly desirable

  • Fully fluent in Mandarin Chinese (writing and speaking)

  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple project tasks

  • Analytical, detail-oriented, enthusiastic and outgoing nature. A strong sense of commitment, a willingness to learn more and a desire to work in a dynamic team environment.
