AECOM Resident Engineer (MEP) in Shatin, N.T., Hong Kong

Job Summary

  • Assist the Construction Manager / Senior Resident Engineer (MEP) in matters relating to Government procedures, standards and the handling of contractual matters.

  • Site supervision and management of works contracts for MEP works

  • Resolution of project risks and site problems of works contracts and the project

  • Monitoring of compliance of various statutory and/or permit requirements under different ordinances/regulations for works contracts and the project

  • Co-ordination and liaison in handover of sites, working areas and accesses for works contracts and the project

  • Record management and works handover with operation and maintenance parties for works contracts and the project

  • Co-ordination and liaison with other Government departments, statutory bodies, utility companies, etc. for works contract and the project

  • Collaborate with other RSS for delivery of works contracts and the project in safe, efficient and cost-effective manner with good quality

  • Other duties related to the works contracts or the project as may be assigned by the head of the RSS team or the Project Management Consultant from time to time

Minimum Requirements

  • Corporate Membership of the Hong Kong Institute of Engineer (HKIE) in the MEP Engineering discipline or equivalent;

  • At least 8 years’ relevant working experience.

  • With experience working in Macau projects is preferred.

  • Fluent in both written and spoken Chinese and English
