AECOM (Assistant) GIS Analyst / GIS Programmer in Shatin, N.T., Hong Kong

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate projects with peers, supervisors and business line leaders to ensure that projects’ GIS-related objectives and needs are met.

  • Support the GIS needs of both internal and external clients.

  • Develop GIS web application according to the system design.

  • Develop webpage for civil project for public consultation

  • Shall perform other duties that his/her immediate superior may assign from time to time.

  • Develop mobile GIS application in android for engineering use.

  • Enforce ethics and compliance policy including Third Party payment, Sub-consultancy engagement process and Gift and Entertainment policy.

Minimum Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree holder in GIS, Computer Science, IT or related discipline.

  • Familiar with Web development using XML, JSON and PHP5 and Mobile development using Objective-C, Android / HTML5, CSS3 and JQuery Mobile

  • Familiar with programming tools and databases, including Microsoft .NET, VB, Oracle, SQL Server.

  • Preferably with relevant experience in GIS/BIM/CAD related software such as ArcGIS, AutoCAD, RVT and etc.

  • Good technical and analytical skills, self-motivated and able to work under pressure.

  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.

  • 2+ years’ experience on system development and implementation

  • Candidates with less qualification and experience will be considered for Assistant GIS Analyst / Assistant GIS Programmer & Fresh graduates are also considered
