AECOM Manager, Tax, Asia Pacific in Shatin, Hong Kong

Hong Kong - Sha Tin, Shatin

Job Summary

  • Providing tax advice to support operations in bidding and executing cross-border projects

  • Preparing / co-ordinating with external tax consultants to prepare and review the corporate direct and indirect taxes for APAC region

  • Managing tax provision for US reporting

  • Handling tax authorities’ enquiries and audits;

  • Reviewing any relevant tax law changes in APAC from time to time and advising the implications to the business

  • Monitoring any organizational structure change from a tax perspective

  • Leading new tax initiatives and providing tax guidelines and directions to support business line operation

  • Reviewing compliance with the group transfer pricing policy, preparing transfer pricing documentation and supporting documents

Minimum Requirements

  • Degree holder in Finance/Accounting/Taxation/Law with Tax or Professional Accounting Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant regional tax experience in MNC and Big 4 accounting firm

  • Good knowledge of Tax Accounting and US GAAP is an advantage

  • Be able to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks and work under pressure

  • Good attention to detail and strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English and Chinese

  • Able to work with people across functions and culture and from all levels within the organization and develop and cultivate strong relationship with Tax Authorities
