Position Title Legal Assistant, Shanghai
China - Shanghai Municipality
Perform full range of legal, compliance, and administrative support to the Legal Department
Administering AECOM’s state of the art ethics and compliance systems
Assisting to procure insurance certificates and renewal of insurance certificates in relation to various AECOM Sites
Assisting in corporate secretarial duties
Drafting, preparing and processing legal documents, forms, and reports
Holder of a degree in any discipline with some legal training. Legal training background would be an advantage but not essential;
Minimum 5 years working experience in sizeable multinational corporations. Working as a paralegal, legal secretary or legal executive in a law firm or in an in-house legal team would be an advantage but not essential;
Relevant experience working in the construction and engineering industry would also be an advantage;
Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese;
Robust knowledge of MS Office, including Word and Excel;
Mature and pleasant, excellent attention to detail skills;
Embrace a fast-paced working environment and able to cope with changes and react immediately to instructions and ability to multi-task;
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as a part of a team;
Well-organized, able to work independently with limited supervision and meet tight deadlines
Legal education or knowledge would be a plus.
