AECOM Senior Civil Engineering Manager in Savannah, Georgia

Job Summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Civil Engineering Manager to join our growing Southeast ports and marine business line in our Savannah, GA office. The individual will be responsible for managing ports and marine terminal projects, continue developing AECOM’s Georgia ports client relationships, market, and win new port and marine projects in collaboration with AECOM's National Marine and Ports business development team across the Southeast and the US

  • Provide engineering, technical, and management leadership for multiple disciplines for multiple ports and marine civil projects;

  • Initiate and maintain extensive contacts with senior-level engineers within AECOM and with key engineering officials with clients and other organizations and companies, and is skilled in persuasion and negotiation of critical issues.

  • Demonstrated creativity, foresight, and mature engineering judgment in anticipating and solving both routine and unusual engineering problems, determining program objectives and requirements, organizing programs and projects, and developing standards and guides for diverse engineering activities.

  • Provides business development support and leadership with ports and marine projects within Georgia and across the Southeast region of US

Minimum Requirements

  • BA/BS plus eight years of related experience or demonstrated the equivalency of experience and/or education,

  • Project Management experience with civil engineering port projects

  • Extensive experience with container and marine terminal civil engineering

Preferred Qualifications

  • MS Degree in a related field.

  • Twelve years of demonstrated related experience
