AECOM is seeking a Quality Inspector to be based in our Saskatoon, SK location.
AECOM’s Resources, Power and Industry Business has multiple opportunities for experienced Quality Inspectors to support the successful completion of a range of projects across the region.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Possesses and applies an extensive knowledge of products and production processes along with statistical control procedures, design, and testing procedures.
Uses principles of science, engineering, and mathematics to solve practical testing and control problems.
Responsible for ensuring quality through testing and inspection at various stages of production process and compiles and evaluates statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability.
Interprets engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas, and confers with management or engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards.
May specialize in particular area of quality control/assurance such as incoming material, process control, product evaluation, inventory control, product reliability, or research and development.
May assign, monitor, and review progress and accuracy of work of a group of employees. Orients and trains the work of lower level employees.
- Associates degree or 2+ years of formal technical training or demonstrated equivalent.
6 years of experience in area of specialization.
Experience with underground mine materials handling systems and equipment;
Experience with surface and underground mine infrastructure and related equipment;
Experience working in a dynamic, consulting environment.
You will be agile in your approach, with the ability to move into projects at short notice and deliver high-quality work output will be essential.
- Mining Industry /Heavy Industry experience – Essential.
