AECOM CAD Process Designer in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan

Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a highly talented and motivated CAD Process Designer for full-time employment based in the Saskatoon, SK office. The candidate will have the opportunity to work with a talented group on a wide variety of municipal water and wastewater projects.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Working under the direction of engineers and project managers

  • Preparing engineering drawings with the use of AutoCAD and Revit

  • Preparing process mechanical drawings for water and wastewater pumping and treatment facilities from conceptual to final design

  • Coordinating project drawings with project managers, engineers, and collaborating with other disciplines.

  • Ensuring that project needs are met in a timely and effective manner and conform to drafting standards

Minimum Requirements

  • Engineering Technologist diploma + 2 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD

  • Experienced in PC use with MS office proficiency

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of municipal process equipment

  • Strong communication skills along with excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities and working in a team environment

  • 5 years + overall experience

  • Highly organized, with significant attention to detail, and able to prioritize multiple tasks/work assignments

  • Adaptable and proactive
