AECOM Document Control Manager in San Francisco, California

Job Summary

Responsible for assisting in implementing and maintaining a document control system and configuration management system on the Peninsula Corridor Electrification Program for baseline and controlled documents capable of meeting regulatory, quality and company requirements for documentation in a project environment as instructed by the supervisor. This position assists in developing document control and configuration management policies and procedures as directed, and assists in providing training for all project participants.

Minimum Requirements

  • Mustbeproficient in MSOfficeandAdobeAcrobat Professional.

  • Mustbeproficient inscanning andimagingapplications, webcollaborationsystemsandindatabaseapplications.

  • Must alsobeproficient inSharePoint includingcustomizingapplicationtoproject needs. SharePointcertificationpreferred.Must alsobeproficient in civilengineering/constructionprogram managementprogramssuchasAconex. Mustbeabletolearnandefficientlyutilize project SharePoint application,Aconexandanyother project software.

  • Mustbeabletointerfacewith a varietyofpeopleandbeabletowork aspartof a team.

  • Mustbeindependentlymotivatedandabletoworkindependentlyandwithout detaileddirectionorsupervision.

  • Must demonstrate initiative toexcel.Mustbehighlyorganizedanddetailoriented. Carefulattentiontodetailandaccuracyis a must.

  • Mustbeabletoproduceaccurateworkproducts while maintaining a service-orientedapproach.

  • Mustbeflexibleandabletoreadilyadapt tochangingprioritiesandtakedirectionfrommorethansourceworkingtobringallteam memberstogether andeffectivelycommunicatingscheduleand/orpriorityconflicts, changingprioritiesand/or assignments.

  • Mustbesensitivetotimedeadlinessothat work isaccomplishedinthetimeframesrequired.

  • Mustbeabletoworkconsistentlyat a fast pace.

  • Must possessgoodinterpersonalskillsandproficient oralandwrittencommunicationskills.

  • Mustbefamiliar with civilengineering andconstructionterminologyandbeabletolearntransitterminology.

  • Mustbeabletooccasionallywrap, liftandmoveboxes/packagesofupto40pounds.

Experiencemustbeconstruction/engineeringdocument control/configurationmanagement experience:

  • Bachelor’sDegreeor equivalent in a relatedfieldwithat least fouryearsofwork-relatedexperienceor

  • AssociatesDegreeor equivalent in a relatedfieldwithat least sixyearsofwork-relatedexperienceor

  • HighSchoolDiplomawithat least eightyearsofwork-related experience.
