AECOM's Central Region is actively seeking a
Project Civil Engineer to provide civil engineering and design services for large earthwork structures for our Civil and Geotechnical Design Group in our Salt Lake City, Utah office.
This position will involve working with teams of civil, structural and geotechnical engineers to conceive, permit, design and construct large earthwork, structural and piping projects. Typical projects include heap leach stockpiles, tailing impoundments, large diameter pipelines and water dams.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Lead civil engineering design on projects for dams, landfills, mining projects, pipeline and power projects.
Organize, schedule and manage teams of diverse engineering disciplines to meet project deadlines and deliverables.
Prepare presentations for projects and proposals.
Provide mentoring and leadership to junior engineers.
Prepare technical memoranda and design reports.
Support business growth with new and existing clients.
Demonstrate ability to build trusting working relationships with clients and colleagues.
Perform assignments requiring application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria to carry out engineering tasks.
- BA/BS + 6 YORE or AA/AS (US) + 8 YORE or Diploma/Certificate (Canada) + 8 YORE or HS/GED + 10 YORE
Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering
Knowledge of AutoCad Civil3D capabilities and able to direct design technicians
Hydrology and Hydraulics modeling experience
Licensed as Professional Engineer
