The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:

  • Maintain a line of communication and a collaborative working relationship with the AECOM Leadership team

  • Prepare project proposals, negotiate contracts and fees, coordinate bidding process

  • Manage quality control and team performance for all phases of facilities design and design/build projects

  • Manage project schedule, budgets, and set-up with sub-contractors, vendors and consultants, including preparation and execution of consultant contracts

  • Manage and maintain existing client relationships while developing new and to identify and source potential projects

  • Provide business development support for federal installations throughout the Pacific Region including the Western United States, Guam, Hawaii, Korea, and Japan

  • Track financial performance of project

  • Consistently provide complete and timely communication of project information to and from clients and project team

  • Ensure projects conform to contract and monitor construction administration

  • Mentor and coach staff for growth

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering an Discipline

  • 10+ years of direct related experience as Project Manager, including demonstrated success as a project manager on a range of facilities design project types

  • Registered Professional Engineer in California

  • Excellent knowledge of the Federal sector including USACE, USN, USAF, GSA, DOJ, and other federal market sectors

  • Experience with all phases of the project, including pre-design through post-occupancy

  • Experience negotiating project scope and fees

  • Experience in maintaining fiscal accountability of projects

  • Experienced in maintaining and building new client relationships

  • Thorough knowledge of building codes, standards and building structures

  • Self-starter, leader, manage and mentor multiple project teams

  • Able to work and lead a complex team structure

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project

  • Experience and ability to visit DOD bases and installations in the Asia Pacific Region to conduct marketing activities

  • Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Retired Military Status or other credential that permits entry into United States Military Installation around the globe

  • PMP Certification from the Project Management Institute
