AECOM is seeking a Senior Administrative Assistant professional specializing in Project Management to join our highly collaborative and motivated staff in our Roanoke, Virginia office. The Senior Administrative Assistant for Project Management will partner with local Project Managers in support of their managerial responsibilities.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Prepares or proofs correspondence, forms, spreadsheets, or documents
Makes travel arrangements and manage passport/visa requests
Resolves expense report enquiries, handle document packaging and delivery activities
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish more complicated goals with minimal guidance from management
Uses innovative software technology in order to drive effectiveness. Maintains a flexible work schedule to meet business needs.
6+ years applicable experience
Demonstrable Mastery of Microsoft Word including use of multilevel lists and styles and integration of graphics and tables for report generation.
Demonstrable knowledge and experience in Microsoft Excel including expertise in database query and analysis, simple macros, and conditional formatting.
Customer Service oriented, willing to play a part on the project management team to contribute to the successful management to projects through evidence-based decision making.
An Investigative initiative to research and understand complex technical problems
Strong written and verbal communication skills a must.
Due to nature of the work US Citizenship required
Ability to obtain a DoD Clearance
Experience in an Architectural/Engineering environment
Adobe InDesign knowledge strongly desired
Experience with Microsoft Project and/or Bluebeam
