Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Junior Analyst for immediate employment in our Sao Paulo, Brazil office.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Planning and logistic of field work

  • Supervision of subcontractors during field work

  • Follow up of lab and subcontractor services

  • Organization of field work data

  • Elaboration of Field work report

  • Aquifer test interpretation

  • Interpretation of field data and analytical results

  • Spreadsheets and data tables filling and review

  • Elaboration of report drawing as potenciometric maps, plumes, concentrations maps, hydrostratigraphic cross sections, borehole logs, monitoring wells profile

  • Elaboration of reports

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Engineer, Chemical Engineer, Environmental Chemistry or Industrial Chemistry

  • 0-2 years Field work experience, including the following areas:

  • Groundwater, surface water, sediment and soil sampling

  • Slug & Bail test

  • Borehole description

  • Monitoring well installation

  • Office skills:

  • Reports writing

  • Drawings

  • English understanding

  • Aquifer test

  • Analytical results interpretation

  • Potenciometric maps

  • Hydroestraigraphich cross section

  • SQIs Plumes

  • Training certificates

Preferred Qualifications

  • Supervisor of field work

  • Available to travel (if it’s necessary)

  • Available to work at weekends and holidays (if it’s necessary)

  • Good oral and written communication

  • Good interpersonal relationship

  • Organization and good structuring of work

  • Driven license to drive vehicles
