Job Responsibilities/Duties

Performs duties of Software Project Lead (software/business analyst) supporting development of new software applications & databases and routine maintenance of software & databases including issue management, modifications, procedure reviews, market analysis, etc. as defined in TFC-PLN-03 and as assigned by the manager. The software products being developed and maintained are information management and human performance improvement systems that are web-based, data-driven C# applications developed using an MVC or MVVM framework. Duties include responsibility for integration of software, software requirements elicitation, customer relations, design analysis, requirements analysis and definition, and overall look and feel of productivity tools. This includes coordinating the software project team activities and leading the software lifecycle project phases including design, development, testing and deployment. Also responsible for the development and maintenance of the software lifecycle documentation, software quality assurance & other support as directed.

*Perform routine administrative activities/duties on time (routine training, safety meetings, time keeping, continuing training, staff meetings, etc.)

Required Qualifications

BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or a related discipline and 5 to 8 years of experience in software engineering and leading software application development projects with emphasis on process software and databases.

Desired Qualifications

Satisfactory knowledge of software project management techniques.

Satisfactory knowledge of current development and software engineering trends, including MVC, MVVM, and Angular.

Must be familiar with current software and database development paradigms and methodologies.

Must be familiar with current software and database testing methodologies (manual and automated).

Must be familiar with software documentation including software quality assurance standards and software configuration management processes.
