The successful candidate will accurately and completely process financial data in compliance with applicable laws, regulations and contract terms while using appropriate internal controls to ensure data integrity. Assist Business Management System (BMS) owner in developing, maintaining and supporting financial business systems and processes. Specific duties include, but are not limited to: * Review time keeping charges for compliance with procedures.* Respond in a timely and accurate manner to analyst, ORP, auditor requests for information.* Reconcile contract and payroll general ledger accounts.* Comply with WRPS policies and procedures * Ensure ISMS Principles are incorporated into organization's activities
Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance and 5+ years of accounting experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.Must demonstrate ability to effectively work with internal and external customers while fostering a team environment. Must possess strong written communications skills to write company correspondence and presentation materials for groups inside and outside of the organization via email or formal letters. Need strong oral skills to communicate effectively with all levels of management and ORP personnel. Maintain effectiveness when experiencing major changes in work task or work environment (ability to effectively work within new work structures, processes, requirements, or cultures). Position requires the individual to have an ability to identify and evaluate problems and problem areas and report to Manager Finance to help identify causal factors, and identify sound and effective solutions within the restraints of the WRPS procedures.
