AECOM Environmental Monitor in Pocasset, Massachusetts

United States of America - Massachusetts, Pocasset

Job Summary

AECOM has an immediate need for an Environmental Monitor for either Boston or Pocasset, MA. This is a field position that requires 90% in the field in Southeastern Massachusetts conducting environmental regulatory compliance oversight of contractor operations relating to large linear construction projects.

Minimum Requirements

  • BS in Environmental Science, Natural Resources, Geology or similar or Environmental Engineering

  • 2+ years of experience in Field Environmental Monitoring Inspections of active construction sites

  • Experience writing daily and weekly reports

  • Capable of performing field work at all times, sometimes in inclement weather and typically walking about on uneven terrain

  • Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required

  • Valid driver's license required

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience is preferred

  • Ability to work long hours and flexible schedule desirable

  • Prior experience with the Mass Wetlands Protection Act, MEPA Regulations and the MCP highly desirable.

  • OSHA 40 Certification preferred.
