Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated K-12 Education Construction Inspector for project support in the Greater Pennslyvania region including New Jersey and Delaware.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Inspections of facility and building construction projects

  • Prepare daily reports and track quantities on work being performed

  • Prepare and manage project site records, logs and correspondence

  • Prepare cost estimates for changed conditions and assist in the negotiation of change orders

  • Assist in coordination construction schedules and work

  • Work indirectly with the client to meet the needs of the project

  • Communicate with the project team throughout the project

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma

  • 10+ years of experience in the field of Facilities Construction

  • Demonstrated experience inspecting multiple types of construction including mechanical, electrical, plumbing and architectural

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with the management of design and construction contracts, estimating, submittal reviews, schedule reviews

  • Experience simultaneously managing multiple projects

  • Experience with CPM scheduling

  • Experience with construction of government facilities including General Services Administration

  • Experience with construction of occupied facilities and phased construction
