Position Title CADD Drafter I/II

The CAD department of AECOM is actively seeking a talented, highly motivated CADD drafter I/II for immediate employment in the Philadelphia, PA office. The appropriately qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of Microstation (ver. V8i or higher) and a willingness to work with a multidisciplinary team. The applicant can look forward to projects in the disciplines of highway, structures, catenary, rail, and survey working with our two (2) largest clients PennDOT and DelDOT.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Create basic details
Prepare drawings from sketches supplied by engineers
Understand importance of accuracy and high quality presentation
An ability to work effectively as part of project teams under direction of CAD manager
Preparation of exhibits, sketches and other documents utilized in reports and presentations
Assist other teams members with preparation and assembly of design project deliverables
Comprehend basic CAD standards
High School diploma
No experience for level I/ 3+ years of experience for level II
The ability to create neat and accurate technical drawings
Basic drafting knowledge
Good use of English, both written and oral
Good inter-personal skills
To be a team player
To be reliable, practical, self-motivated and willing to learn
Must be knowledgeable in Microstation (ver. V8i or higher).
Must be knowledgeable in AutoCAD knowledge
Experience with Inroads preferred but not required.
Revit experience a plus but not required
Experience with 3D files preferred but not required.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (word, excel, power point, outlook, etc.).
