The role as Facilities Assistant within the Real estate and Facilities team provides professional support to all AECOM employees and clients. In this role you have the ability to manage many tasks at one time and provide strong support to all members of FM Perth team. You will use your initiative and take a proactive approach to problem solving and be supportive of solutions to ensure the successful delivery of FM services to the Perth office.
In this role you will take pleasure in dealing with internal and external clients as well as external vendors. As the facilities assistant you will be required to take perform a variety of tasks such as relief reception, monthly fleet vehicle inspections, updating of floor plans, updating of departmental registers and/or online content, coordinating repairs with external contractors for kitchen services, maintenance of storerooms and associated inventory and be willing to provide primary cover for all members of the FM team.
This is a part-time role, Monday to Friday with core hours of 10am-2pm however flexibility is required when cover is needed.
Minimum of three years’ experience in a corporate facilities team within a medium to large professional company
Excellent customer service skills with a Client focus (both internal and external clients)
Effective time management and prioritising skills with attention to detail
Ability to multitask and manage conflicting priorities
Ability to problem solve and be a self-starter
Sound skills in Microsoft applications such as Outlook, Word & Excel
