AECOM Cost Manager in Paris, France

Job Summary

Currently we are looking for Cost Manager to involved in a service station program for our client. Key duties and responsibilities include:

  • Developing cost budgets at different stages for service stations in France

  • Developing cost estimations for fuels distribution and storage, parking, roads, underground network, fluids, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and buildings

  • Fit cost estimation with client requirements and inputs

  • Translate strong analytical assessments into clear and compelling recommendations

  • Compare estimation with benchmarks

  • Ensure competitiveness of the budget

  • Ensure cost saving mindset in the team

  • Confront estimation with contractors prices

  • Use, manage and develop cost estimation library

  • Analyze and improve scope and design relating to the cost

  • Challenge schedule to improve project costs

  • Suggest improvements which optimizes costs and schedule

  • Identify cost improvements along the procurement process

  • Present cost estimation to the client

  • Handover cost estimation report and supporting documents to contractors

  • Reports to the program manager and to the cost engineering leader

Minimum Requirements

  • Fluent in French and English

  • 10 year of work experience in cost management or quantity surveying

  • A leading example in compliance and ethics

  • Ability to work under pressure to tight dead-lines

  • Ability to handle at same time different projects at different stages

  • Travel for short periods when required to sites in France

  • Ability to work in multi-disciplinary and multi-contractors team

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with projects relating to fuels, MEP and building area
