AECOM Survey Project Manager in Orlando, Florida

Job Summary

AECOM is growing and seeking a Survey Project Manager to join our Orlando, FL office. Responsibilities include:

  • Performs and supervises FDOT Design Surveys and Topographic/Boundary Surveys technical production.

  • Prepares and/or supervises preparation of Surveying deliverables.

  • Responsible for compliance with Standards of Practice Chapter 5J-17 Florida Administrative Code, FDOT Surveying Handbook, policies, procedures, and CAD standards.

  • Performs research and prepare sketches and descriptions.

  • Performs calculations for field personnel.

  • Assist in Surveying staff hour estimates.

  • Attends meetings with clients.

  • Assists in training of Survey personnel.

  • Assists with utilization of Surveying advanced techniques (LiDAR, UAS, SUE, etc

Minimum Requirements

  • Licensed Professional Surveyor and Mapper in the State of Florida.

  • Extensive experience with Surveying projects in FDOT District 5.

  • Knowledge of FDOT surveying/mapping procedures.

  • Proficient in MicroStation and AutoCAD working environment.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

8-10 years of survey experience
