AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Entry-Level Survey CADD Technician for employment in the Orlando, FL office. It is an exceptional opportunity to join an active and growing transportation survey department.
Processes survey data collected in the field to create survey drawings, DTM, sketches, descriptions and other written records on daily basis
Ability to read and understand survey field notes, sketches, maps, plats, deeds, as-builts, construction plans and other drawings and records
Routinely performs coordinate geometry calculations such as intersections, curves, inverses, area calculations, etc.
Performs QA/QC of the field data to verify it complies with the project requirements
Transmits and keeps survey data and records
Works under direction of Licensed Surveyor or Project Manager
Associate Degree or equivalent
Proficient in current version of MicroStation/Geopak
Recent experience in transportation survey/design projects
Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Good reading, writing and communication skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Strong belief in safety practices
Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D
Experience with Bentley SUE Module
Experience with 3D Modeling
Survey Field Experience
Ability to quickly understand new technologies and learn new software
