Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a METCAL Manager to provide program management support to Command Naval Submarine Force Atlantic. The position will be located at COMSUBLANT, Norfolk, VA.

Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Provide support for Shipboard 3M/2M test equipment, TMDE, and METCAL programs

  2. Review ILS for test equipment requirements and PMS Technical Feedback Reports

  3. Manage the Consolidated Test Equipment Readiness Assessment (CTRA) Program

  4. Review Submarine SPETERL for accuracy against CDMD-OA configuration files.

  5. Attend meetings, conferences as required.

Minimum Requirements

  • Experience supporting/managing a Submarine METCAL Program

  • Familiar with PMS Technical Feedback reporting requirements

  • Bacehlor’s degree and at least 12 years of job-related experience or equivalent

  • Position requires a Secret Security clearance

  • Position may require travel.

  • Specialized Experience:

  • Six years full time experience in program acquisition, installation and fleet support of Submarine mechanical/electrical/electronic systems/equipment; and possess knowledge of:

  • DOD/navy systems and programs acquisition, and

  • Navy systems requirements, standards and procedures, and

  • Navy procurement and acquisition, and

  • Navy configuration management, data management, and program management

  • General Experience:

  • Six years full time experience in Navy programs life cycle support

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior Submarine METCAL program management experience
