Position Title Field Service Engineer (FSE) GEDMS

AECOM is actively seeking Field Service Engineer (FSE) to provide troubleshooting, inspection, and assessment support of the following navigation systems: all variants of AVAYA/STC-2/IVN/MARCOM Telephone Systems, all variants of AN/USQ-82 Data Multiplexing System (DMS/FODMS/GEDMS), Legacy Telephone Systems and MK84 400HZ Systems.
Connectivity problems including peripheral, interfaced, and support systems.
Must show GEDMS Classroom training or has earned NEC 4739. Demonstrate a minimum of eight (8) years full-time hands-on technical experience within last 15 years in the operation, maintenance, installation, test, and/or repair of electrical/electronic systems/equipment incorporated in Combat, ASW, USW, MIW, or C4I systems and an in-depth knowledge troubleshooting, repairing and assessing shipboard AVAYA IVN, STC-2 and MARCOM Telephone systems, shall demonstrate a minimum of eight (8) years in-depth knowledge troubleshooting, repairing and assessing shipboard Navigation systems including MK27F and, shall demonstrate Classroom training for MK84 400HZ.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: A minimum of four (4) years full-time engineering experience with in the last 10 years in Combat systems, ASW,USW,MIW, and or C4I. Qualifications shall demonstrate a minimum of two (2) years hands-on experience on each of the listed systems:
TELEPHONE SYSTEMS: AVAYA IVN / STC-2 / MARCOM
AN/USQ-82 GEDMS NEC 4739
NAVIGATION SYSTEMS: MK27F, WSN-8B DHYSL
Qualifications shall include the ability to act in an independent position, while performing engineering support services such as:
Engineering Change Installations
Material Condition Assessments
Position requires the ability to work onboard US Navy ships and access ship repair industrial facilities.
Position may require travel.
Position requires an active Security Clearance and ability to obtain a Common Access Card.
