Position Title Engineering Technician - MK 32 SVTT

Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking an Engineering Technician to provide technical support and engineering services for Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC), Code 287. Provide technical assessment/inspection support, engineering technical services, and program/logistics support for MK 32 SVTT and associated equipment/subsystems both ship and land based site installations.

Support includes:

  1. Systems installation.

  2. Systems operation.

  3. Systems maintenance.

Minimum Requirements

  • A minimum of ten (10) years full-time hands-on technical experience within last 15 years with MK 32 SVTT mechanical and industrial repair methodologies.

  • SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: A minimum of five (5) years with in the last 10 years with Surface vessel Torpedo Tubes and associated equipment/subsystems. Any prior RMC experience in TSRA/INSERV is a plus. Must be familiar with QA process/procedures in relation with SVTT RAC.

  • Proficient in interpreting Engineering Drawings

  • Able to determine parts, material and machine tooling required to perform work based on the drawings

  • Able to create a flow diagram/drawing

  • Position requires the ability to work onboard US Navy ships and access ship repair industrial facilities.

  • Position may require travel.

  • Position requires an active Security Clearance and ability to obtain a Common Access Card.
