Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking Engineer Technicians for MARMC Code 283 technical support and assistance while performing electronic, electrical and mechanical assessments, alignments and fault corrections on communications equipment, SATCOM Radio and TV-DTS, all variants and antennas.

Essential Responsibilities:

The ability to act in an independent position, while performing engineering support services such as:

  • Engineering Change Installations

  • Technical Assists

  • Systems Certification

  • INSURV's

  • Material Condition Assessments

  • Systems Installations

Minimum Requirements

  • A minimum of eight (8) years’ full-time hands-on technician level experience within last 15 years in the operation, maintenance, installation, test, and/or repair of electrical/electronic systems/equipment.

  • SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: A minimum of four (4) years full time hands-on technician experience within last 10 years in performing electronic, electrical and mechanical assessments, alignments and fault corrections on the following equipment/systems:

  • AN/WSC-9 NMT and A/L-7204 TV-DTS SATCOM, all variants and antennas

  • AN/USC-69 CBSP, AN/WSC-6 SHF, AN/SRC-61 DMR SATCOM, all variants and antennas

  • AN/WSC-3 UHF and AN/SRC-61 DMR SATCOM, all variants and antennas

  • Position requires the ability to work onboard US Navy ships and access ship repair industrial facilities.

  • Position may require travel.

  • Position requires an active Security Clearance and ability to obtain a Common Access Card.
