Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking an ILS Specialist to provide Depot Level Repair part tracking in support of Commander Naval Submarine Force, Squadron Six. The position will be located at Squadron Six, Naval Station Norfolk, VA.

Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Manage, operate, and maintain Enhance Retrograde Management System (eRMS)

  2. Provide logistics, technical, and management support for failed DLR, cannibalized assets

  3. Safeguard all government property

  4. Modifying, updating weekly reports

  5. Maintain, develop and document DLR/MTRA Program Operating Procedures

  6. Maintain required databases

  7. Track Material within the MTRA process

  8. Develop and maintain statistics on MTRA process performance, repair costs, and cost avoidances or saving achieved.

  9. All other related tasks as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business/Logistics or related job field and at least 3 years of job related experience or equivalent.

  • 2 years’ experience in logistics engineering acquisition, fleet Introduction, installation, test operations, and life cycle support

  • 4 years’ experience in Navy ILS components:

  1. Maintenance Planning

  2. Supply Support

  3. Technical Logistic data

  4. Configuration Management

  • Excellent communication skills; inter personal; organizational and analytical skills; working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications are required.

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in the Navy DLR/MTRA process management

  • Position requires travel.

  • Position requires an active Secret Security Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Submarine Squadron Logistics support experience
