The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Research contract terms and conditions, drawings, specifications, submittals required to assist in claims analysis and merit determinations

  • Development of chronologies for issues

  • Tracking commercial items

  • Performing commercial activities associated with processing contract modifications

  • Preparing presentations and reports for commercial issues

  • Providing claims support

  • Coordinating with Cost/Schedule Engineers for reporting of construction progress, cost and schedule status

  • Assisting in review of progress payment requisitions and invoices

  • Coordinating with Senior Inspector to resolve deficiency notices and other quality issues

  • Assisting senior inspector in maintaining record and as-built drawings and change tracking

  • Assisting with resolution of construction and technical issues in the field

  • Coordinating with Office Engineer regarding progress photos and documents needed to support construction progress meetings and reports

  • Assisting with preparation of weekly, monthly, and ad hoc technical reports and resolution of claims, etc

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent

  • 5+ years of relevant experience with logistics, planning and/or direct construction/engineering

  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite (Access, Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and Expedition

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in construction management, project controls or contract administatrion preferred
