Position Title Architectural Inspector

AECOM is actively seeking a highly talented and hardworking Project Architect for immediate employment in the New York, NY office.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to
Supports the CM team in oversight of quality cost and schedule for the architectural elements and finishes of the facility
Coordinates with Cost/Schedule engineers for reporting of constriction progress, cost and schedule status
Assists in review of progress payment requisitions and invoices
Assists with identification, tracking and resolution issues
Coordinate with Senior Inspector to resolve Deficiency Notices and other Quality issues
Assists Senior Inspector in maintenance of record and as built drawings and change tracking
Assists with resolution of construction and technical issues in the field
Reviews Inspectors shift reports and other records for accuracy
Coordinates with office engineers regarding progress photos and documents needed to support construction progress meetings and reports
Assists with preparation of weekly, monthly, and ad hoc technical reports and resolutions of claims, etc
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or other related field required
3+ years relevant experience with architecture including field administration experience
Strong PC skills with knowledge of Expedition and MS Office (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint)
Due to the nature of this work, U.S. citizenship is required
Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Experience in underground construction preferred
