AECOM Project Assistant in New York City, New York

Responsible for overseeing and performing administrative functions concerned with a project with a focus on project-related accounting.
Works under general supervision, completing assigned tasks in support of project accounting activities.
Provides various reports as required.
Quickly provide various analysis so that management and the client are able to make informed decisions.
Billing through the review and preparation of invoices
Analyze situations and data to resolve existing or potential problems.
Plan and monitor the activities of one or more areas.
Training on Employer’s computerized system is required as well as proficiency in PC based applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
Good management and organizational skills including the ability to work on several projects simultaneously, meet critical deadlines, and determine the priority of assignments based on deadlines that must be met.
Communicate effectively both in writing and verbally.
Ability to manage contractors’ expectations in order to keep them working when payments are delayed or not in the amount expected
2-3+ years of directly related professional experience, NYC DEP Experience Preferred
Proficiency in Excel - advanced
High School diploma
Must have excellent communication and writing skills
- 5+ years of directly related professional experience
